46 Violents Deaths During Semana Santa, Down From Last Year

This year less people died from violent deaths during Semana Santa. Preliminary numbers indicate 46 deaths, compared to 51 last year.

The majority of the deaths, 22, were to drownings in pools; 17 deaths related to traffic accidents, seven murders, one of which was a femicide.
