The probability that things will be this way is because countries like China and India are consuming more chocolate and in producing countries like Ghana and Ivory Coast, representing approximately 50% of world production, plantations are becoming less productive … “.
Günkell says that opportunities in cocoa show it “… as a very profitable crop for Nicaragua and it could replace areas of land that are ceasing to be suitable for coffee …”.
