TODAY NICARAGUA – Heavy rains and strongs winds nationwide during the last 48 hours left damage to 124 homes in four departments.

Official reports say the departments of Managua, Leon, Masaya and Nueva Segovia were the hardest it.
Of the 124 homes affected, 89 were flooded; 30 with partial damage mainly in the ceilings; and 5 houses are at risk of collapse. In addition flooding was reported in the school in El Sauce, Leon.
The Nicaraguan Institute of Territorial Studies (INET) forecast for this Sunday partly cloudy skies throughout the national territory, with light rain and thunderstorms.
