NICARAGUA NEWS — A number of projects are being prepared for 2015 including drainage works and channel stabilization, installation of traffic lights, construction and improvement of roads in the capital.
Part of the work to carried out includes “… The creation of an alternative route to the Country Club Golf Course -Sabana Grande – with complementary works, drainage works in Santa Rosa, stabilization of La Primavera spring in its third phase, and the seventh stage of the Park ‘Luis Alfonso Velázquez Flores.'”
Elnuevodiario.com.ni reports that “… one of the biggest investments in the capital’s municipality which will done in 2015 is to support the Central American Games 2017. It includes equipment for the development of basketball, goalball, swimming, athletics, power lifting and softball in addition to the construction of restrooms, locker rooms, showers and a medical center, among other things. ”
In addition “… The extension of 300 meters of the track Larreynaga stage I, the installation of intelligent traffic lights at major intersections in the capital, enabling the alternative route Esquipulas-Sabana Grande road, which is still pending completion and improvements in the storm system in several areas around the capital. ”
