Gerardo Arguello, president of the Stock Exchange of Nicaragua, told Elnuevodiario.com.ni that in the primary market “… transactions totaled US$422 million. ‘Here we went from US$319 million to US$422 million, plus an additional $100 million … We are interested in grow in the primary market, that means there are more people interested in investing in new shares that are coming to market and more companies investing ‘. ”
Eduardo Ortega, Invercasa CEO, commented, “… ‘This has been the year (2014) with the highest number of transactions in the history of the market. In the 21 years of its existence, we reached $1 billion for the first time. ‘”
