Nicaraguan Tourists No Longer Need Visa To Colombia

Colombia eliminated visa requirements for Nicaraguan tourists.

TODAY NICARAGUA – Colombia has eliminated the visa requirements for tourists from Nicaragua to visit the South American country.

Colombia’s Foreign Ministry, in eliminating the travel block, said the reasons was in the interest of encouraging tourism in Colombia, so it will help more people to visit the country.

However, the Foreign Ministry clarified that the exemption of this document will apply only to people who have a Schengen visa or the United States with a minimum validity of 180 days when entering the national territory.

Also, Colombia did not eliminate the cost of the permit of entry to Colombia, which is US$10 dollars, which must be paid at the immigration checkpoint when entering the country.

Finally, Nicaragua has eliminated the cost it charges Colombians to enter the country.
