Costa Rica’s immigration police reported on Wednesday the arrest of three Nicaraguans wanted for the killing of a family in the Maio Indian Reserve, in Nicaragua, in October 2019.
Nicaraguan authorities never confirmed the finding of the murdered family, but at the time the Fundación del Río, through environmentalist Amaru Ruiz denounced the massacre caused by land conflicts, reports Q Costa Rica.

Costa Rica now has to wait for Nicaragua to request the extradition of the suspects.
