NICARAGUA NEWS – Costa Rica’s incoming president is skipping Nicaragua and President Daniel Ortega on his tour to invite the Central American leaders to his inauguration.
QCostarica.com reports that the invitation to Ortega is being made through diplomatic channels, by way of Costa Rica’s ambassador to Nicaragua and not personally by the president-elect of that country.
The SolÃs tour will take him to Central American countries and the Dominican Republic, with no stop in Nicaragua.
In a radio interview, Costa Rica’s incoming ministro de la Presidencia, said that the president-elect thought “disrespectful and unacceptable” the comments made by President Ortega towards Costa Rica.
