Cuba’s Foreign Minister, Bruno Rodriguez, reaffirmed on Sunday his country’s support for the Nicaraguan Government led by President Daniel Ortega.
Rodriguez also rejected the interventionist threats and actions against NIcaragua.
On his Twitter account, Rodriguez wrote, “We express our solidarity with and support for Nicaragua and its Government headed by Commander Daniel Ortega, and we reject the interventionist threats and actions against that sister nation”.

Daniel Ortega has called on several occasions the Organization of American States (OAS) and foreign governments, Costa Rica in particular, not to meddle.
Ortega has expressed publicly that he sees the meddling as attempts to destabilize the Sandinista Revolution.
