Italian Universities Help Nicaragua to Train Professionals

Unan_muralThe Nicaraguan National Council of Universities (CNU) reported today that it would sign an agreement with Italian universities to train professionals and other necessary personnel.

CNU President Francisco Telemaco said this ios a strategic alliance, the result of the country’s integral effort to improve education and involve all the actors in human and national development.

Telemaco also said this agreement had the objective of creating a trained force for the construction and management of the inter-oceanic canal that the country would try to build.

He announced that the accord, which will be signed on Thursday, would fulfil actions in short and medium terms, and involves around 60 Italian universities.
