NICARAGUA NEWS (Prensa Latina) – The Nicaraguan Government addressed a message to historical leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro, on occasion of his 88th birthday (Aug.13).
“How lucky we are, what a blessing to be with you on your 88th birthday,” says the message signed by President Daniel Ortega and Coordinator of the Communication and Citizenship Council, Rosario Murillo.
“Thanks, great Cuba, for giving us the greatest man: Fidel, the eagle, the condor, the quetzal, the myth, the legend, the wise man, the hero, the Revolution.”

Fidel Castro was born on Aug.13, 1926, in Biran vllage, in Holguin province, in eastern Cuba, some 680 km from Havana.
