TODAY NICARAGUA – Cargill has started construction of a processing plant and refrigerated warehouses which in ten years could be producing 400,000 birds per day.

Cargill de Nicaragua SA today announced a major new investment in Nicaragua to continue contributing to the development of this country and has as its aim to continue guaranteeing the supply of chicken, using international standards and standards of quality and safety, for all Nicaraguans.
Cargill CEO of Nicaragua SA, Javier Brenes, presented the Master Plan during a ceremony attended by representatives of the Government of Nicaragua, leaders of the various chambers of commerce, suppliers, partners and neighbors Cargill de Nicaragua.
Cargill, Incorporated, is an American privately held, multinational corporation based in Minnetonka, Minnesota, a Minneapolis suburb. Founded in 1865, it is now the largest privately held corporation in the United States in terms of revenue.
